Can anyone tell me about it? Well made stuff? Is it related to Caruso?

A. Harris is the only one on SF that has discussed it (back in 2003):

Garments from Giorgio Armani, Belvest, Mako, Chester Barrie, Ralph Lauren Purple Label (which is made by Chester Barrie), Isaia, and Luciano Barbera are all considered handmade even though they use machinery in a large percentage of their manufacturing processes. Even Paone admits these companies, particularly Mako, make good-quality suits and sport coats that deserve to hang in the best stores in the world. But he offers a small moan when their names are mentioned alongside the Kiton brand, as some uninformed American retailers-and customers-are wont to do."

Ever since I've been on the lookout for a "Mako" suit. I've never seen one or even heard another mention of one. It recently occured to me that they might be referring to Ma.Co.

Ma.Co is the company of Rafaelle Caruso. They sell suits in the US under the R. Caruso label. The R. Caruso suits are nice but they aren't the companies best. I've had several top-quality private label suits by Ma.Co, for Sulka and Bijan among others. They were great suits - nice cut, canvas front, handpicked lapels, handmade buttonholes - all the best detailing.

Can anyone confirm or deny that Mako = Ma.Co? Has anyone seen a suit with a "Mako" label before??

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but can anyone confirm that this label is the same "Ma. Co" mentioned above?

I've searched SF and Caruso's site, and while I'm fairly certain they're one and the same, I haven't seen another picture of a label to confirm.

If it is Ma. Co., would anyone know how this compares to other Caruso-produced lines (RLBL, Adriano & Sons, Raffaele Caruso Sartoria Parma)?
