Are there any sources for relavitely inexpensive scarves? I have some, but they're rather nice cashmere ones, and I'd like some that I can be, well, less concerned about. Any suggestions would be welcome.Originally Posted by Arethusa
Have you ever considered trying to knit one yourself? My younger sister knits and made what wound up being my favorite scarf for me. That it's handmade rather than machine-made makes the scarf much more visually appealing, in my opinion (kind of like slubby denim, I guess). As long as you don't attempt anything too elaborate, a scarf is also one of the easiest things you could possibly knit, it will probably save you money, and its quality will be as nice as the yarn you choose. Anyway, this might be a ridiculous suggestion, but it's a thought.Originally Posted by tundrafour
