I'm looking for some polka dot knit ties. The only ones that I've found are from expensive makes, such as Drakes and Chravet. Anybody out there know where I can get a decent one for ~40 bucks?

Absolutely; it is my prefered source of knits. They don't have polka-dot knits from what I've seen.

I've been searching for the same thing. I'm wondering, is a dotted knit tie more expensive to produce than a solid or horizontal striped knit tie? Seems like it could be.

There are no polka dots on there at the moment, but in the past Woods of Shropshire has stocked them, they have a lot of other knit ties for what works out as around $40.

I have also seen them cheap in Harvie and Hudson and TM Lewin in the past.

TM Lewin only have one, a black with white dots. I'm looking for a larger selection, namely navy with white dots.

Jamison has some, and he is a forum affiliate! [www.howardyount.com].

A bit more than 40 bucks, but that extra 20 dollars buys you a let more quality. Kent Wang also has a few.

The dots are usually not "knit" into the rest of the tie - they are added to a solid knit tie. At least, the ones I have are.

I have decided that I don't really like mine - they're just not for me. I am willing to part with them for ~$40. PM if you want photos or deets.

They had blue with white spots in the last couple of weeks in the Jermyn st store. maybe worth an email to customer services.
