I'm trying to build up a decent wardobe from the ground up, and I saw this on Sierra Trading Post, http://www.sierratradingpost.com/Pro...&cdf=TopSeller It's 80% wool and 20% cashmere but it's this mysterious Lauren, Ralph Lauren brand? Does anyone know about the quality of this line? Is this the same as that crappy "green" label stuff I see around?

Yes, Lauren, RL is the cheap brand you see at the outlets and discount stores.

If you're looking for an inexpensive overcoat, thrift it. Seriously, if you're willing to go a bit vintage, it is *easy* to find overcoats in the thrift store -- they're tough and last.
