I don’t mean to brag, but I have a pair of Onderhoud’s famed SVC02’s being made in Maryam T. Moro horsebutt leather soon.

So looking forward to these!

My chosen makeup was as follows:

Upper: SVC02 T Moro Horsebutt Black upper thread Brass eyelets 4 speedhooks 41D Bottom: Flatwelt double row Structured toe (leather toe puff & leather heels stiffener) Black welt and edge finish Light brown outsole stitching Black supergrip fullsole 1220XX Cuban heels 1100 (yellow plug)

I am satisfied with everything about the build, but one point I am unsure of is if I made the right decision in getting a black edge color. Should I have gone with brown perhaps?

I found the toe to have a bit of an aggressive taper. I'd probably size true to brannock size and up a width or maybe up a half size from brannock

So if I don't know my brannock and wear 11 in Van last and most other makers in UK 10,5, what would you suggest?

I suggest you find a brannock first. It's not hard, either go to shoe stores and do it yourself (don't let someone else do it for you) or order and return one off of Amazon

Yeah,agree with @theofficialhung . High risk to just assume the 11.5D or E will work for you

Nice! I also have an order in for this pair, the BR221 in Maryam Horsehide, same exact specs as this one but with a curved heel. I think Junkars does possibly some of the prettiest Norwegian chain stitching I have seen…
