Can the indigo on raw jeans rub of onto furniture, I've read it will bleed onto shoes, and I've had mine bleed on my hands, now I am afraid to sit down anywhere.

It definitely can (the bluish tint to the driver's seat in my car will attest to that). If you make a concerted effort to brush it away each time you get up, that will help; I'm sure some of the denim experts will have better suggestions with regard to cleaning.

I haven't experienced this myself, but I have heard of it happening.

I think it depends on the denim in question. My APC's don't bleed at all unless I've been in the rain with them (and even then, it's barely noticable). Premium brands like KMW, Ande Whall, etc. are also reputed to have very slow indigo loss.

However, super-cheap dry denim like H&M sliq raws will bleed like ****...beware.

Yes, indigo will bleed on furniture. It will also rub off on the inside of your jackets/coats. I noticed some blue streaks on the inside of a white jacket after wearing it with my 5eps a few times.

same here...doesnt help when my seats are tan leather... i got rid of the indigo stain by spraying hairspray and wiping it off, i guess this trick is for pen marks but worked on indigo stains.

i just put an old tshirt on the seat now to prevent it.
