Just got some pairs of Incotex/Mabitex pants. Can't figure out what the "roll of fabric thing" in the back pocket or each pair is for? It doesn't look like the fabric of the pants for patching or anything, and I can't figure out what else it could be. Just searched the forums and the interwebz are silent ...

Thanks!

It goes on the cuff to add weight and reduce wear.

The strip of fabric is a "kick tape" or small tape that is supposed to be sewn to the finished cuffs or hems.

Ahhhhh!

So, when I go to put on my SF-approved 2" cuffs, these will get sewn in!

Thank you! I have been schooled.

But if it did not come from the Incotex/Mabitex factory than it's not authentic, and therefore not i-Gent worthy. and therefore a FAIL.
