100% cotton. Tag says dry clean. Do you?

Wonder whether any of you home launder your Incotexes.

Thanks Jamison for the pants, it's great.

I wash them in cold or warm water, then hang dry them. I'm always nervous letting such "dry clean only" cottons go into the dryer, but eventually (after 5 or 10 washings) I just let them go in the dryer - - no problems. Years ago I recall someone telling me, or perhaps I read it, that such cottons need to "set" by washing them and it takes a few washings to do that. Of course, by wet washing, the cloth is going to start to fade some, as it wouldn't I don't think through dry cleaning.

If they are cotton I would hem them before washing.

Really? I would think you'd want to hem them after washing, so the hemming length takes into account any "first wash" shrinkage. That's what I've always done/though anyway -- YMMV.
