On a stool in my closet....it brings me back to my military days of polishing boots on a foot locker.

You do take them off, right? Or is this a shoe version of the standing vs. sitting wipe problem?

I just take them out to garage/workshop and do it standing up at the workbench. Usually next to opened garage door, so I can walk outside as I'm buffing to get good daylight view.
