I
am only 18, and I wanna get a pair of shoes that I could wear with my navy suit, as well as potentially wear them in a more casual setting. Are these formal/unformal enough to be passable in both casual and formal settings? Is it one or the other? Are they even that nice to begin with?

This will be my first pair of dress shoes that will cost >$150 and Ill be buying them myself so I wanna get something that I can get a lot of use out of.

These have way too much going on to really fit into any setting! If I were you, I'd get something like an Allen Edmonds Strand, in either brown or walnut. Both go with a navy suit and will be versatile enough for other uses, too. See the seller on StyleForum for probably the best price.

All that extraneous decoration makes it very casual.

I can't say I am a fan of these particular shoes and wouldn't recommend wearing them with a suit.

Those are only good with graphic tee and faded/distressed jeans.
