"The uploader has not made this video available in your country."
What a shame
it is " telepopmusik - breathe" and very well worth listening!
Here you go- great song:
An evocative, and addictive, song. There's something about this homemade video that, to me, captures the mood of the music perfectly.
Listening to the cliqhop channel on Soma last night, Autechre's Second Bad Vibel came on. Masterpiece.
I see some of you like the old school stuff
well here's my favorite old school chill
Vanessa Daou - Two To Tango
great song and video
Cinnamon Chasers - Luv Deluxe
Does anyone else really detest the percussion track in this? This track, and a number of very close ones, are very common and I cannot like a song with this style.
Not meant as a criticism of your tastes, as tastes can't really be argued over, just an expression of mine and wanting to see if some folks feel the same way.
posting one before I head out
Ian Pooley - Balmes
wtf is up with this embedding bullshit
Well, aside from the track sounding like it came straight from Lost in Translation, yeah the percussion sounds a bit static. They should have put some different MIDI patterns in to mix it up a bit more and apply more swing or groove to the track to give it more of a "live" feel. Doing this removes a lot of the quantizing that's applied to drum tracks and tricks the listener's subconscious into thinking it's listening to a more live, dynamic drummer. Sounds like a small thing but it really does make a huge difference.
I'll change things up a bit here and get a little bit of a hip-hop flavor in here, all provided by Gramatik. Thinking about going to see him at the Double Door on the 3rd. For those who don't appreciate the art of sampling, you may just want to pass on by because you'll find it too repetitive. Go on, get outta here!
Start off with a Led Zeppelin one:
Next one is a real ear worm and will get stuck in your head. It was sampled from an old Wendy Rene record called After Laugher (Comes Tears). Fans of the Wu-Tang will recognize this instantly:
Finally, one off of his new album:
I don't want this to turn into a hip-hop thread so be easy with that genre
some JCB for today
Brown Eyes Mesmerize
It's like you didn't even listen to any of the tracks in my post.
I wouldn't classify any of them as hip-hop...more chill-hop, if there is such a genre. There aren't even any vocals, really, more just chopped snippets and whatnot.
could post soo much but i wont
Bluetech - Elementary Particles
Spongle - Nothing Is Something Worth Doing
