In search of the two-eyelet derby

I really like two eyelet derbys as shown in the examples below.
I like how their minimalistic design (even more minimalistic (in my eyes) as wholecuts) brings out the pure shape of the last. I could also get this from a monk, but I'm not sure if I like the buckle (I remember a nice story about 'elf shoes' if anyone recalls).
My problem is: the only models I know of are by Saint Crispin's, C&J Handgrade and Lidfort - none of which are particularly low-priced. Does anyone know an alternative that fits a smaller budget? I'd be willing to spend up to 300 € (which is quite a bit more in dollars atm).

Examples:

(C&J Stanley in Brown)

(C&J Bartow in Tan)

(Saint Crispin's Mod. 118 'New Derby')

Any advice where I can get one of these models on sale or somehow else cheaper is of course also greatly appreciated.

Surprise, surprise they don't look as elegant as the above examples. I guess there has to be an explanation for the price difference. Do you know which size is shown in the picture? They look rather short and stocky to me. Anyway... how much would they cost and where could I get them? Can't find them neither on german nor on US Land's End site and Alfred Sargent doesn't even have a catalogue online...

PS: Is there a brown version? I'd like brown most.

Looks very interesting, thanks. Now I just have to find out my size in Alfred Sargents and wait for it to pop up somewhere.

Still, any other ideas?

Have you looked at C&J Highbury ? They're bench grade so that would be in your price range (around $370 from PLAL). They're 3-eyelet, but don't really look much different to me

Not a bad idea, though I'd prefer two eyelets. Also, on PLAL the Highbury is only available in black.

I think there's a nice looking Alden two eyelet plain toe model. I ordered it from the Shoemart but had to send it back because the fit didn't work for me. Sorry I can't remember the model/style number. It may be special to the Shoemart.

You might want to consider the Loake Ritz:

Herring Shoes carries it. See Loake Ritz at herringshoes.co.uk.

The C&J benchgrade Dartmouth is pretty sleek in person. I have this version:
