Ok, so rust (and it's close relative, "vicuna") is not the most versatile color for an SC, but it's a cool color to look at.

Thinking about picking up a new Canali in rust with patch pockets.

Grey and khaki trousers are the only combinations I can think of. (Possibly denim?)

Any other good fit pics?

I've never heard "vicuña" used to describe a color before. thought it was just the fabric or animal.

here's a rust DoW number:

1000

rust always reminds me of the 70s. I just can't do it myself. looks kinda gross on my fair skin :)

I was in love with a rust colored Kiton sportcoat, but the $1,600 discounted (from $4,500) price tag kept me away.

I would wear any of those. It's a color that goes pretty well with my skin tone/hair color.

I have been obsessed with the idea of geting a rust jacket since seeing this fit from ctp120, I hope he doesn't mind me reposting here.

I've been looking for a slighlty more orange cloth with a blue overcheck.
I searched a few swatch books but haven't found anything yet, although I did find a couple of darker orange donegals which looked amazing.

I recently threw all complexion contrast concerns to the wind and am getting myself a rust coloured suit in a shade around the DoW's suit and the last jacket in the opening post. Wish me luck

This thread makes me remember how eagerly I'm waiting for fall to return....
