There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I realize this is a bump, but grey is a fantastic color, particularly in lighter shades. I'm a fan of the look described in the solids threads (solids that aren't actually quite solid) and grey pulls this off better than anything else IMO. Almost any decent grey fabric actually has some interesting pattern to it. Also
Probably the sexiest thing I've seen on SF thusfar. And I normally don't go for higher gorges like this. Yowza.

I think Butler's gray outfit in the What Are You Wearing Now thread is one the the best I've seen on SF. The above suit originally posted by Patrick Booth is sick and the peak lapels really distinguish it from every other dark gray suit seen on these pages. Well done Sir!

What are your thoughts of wearing snuff or chocolate brown suede with charcoal grey in the fall?

You mean chocolate suede shoes? Yeah that's a great combo.

I'm working on my gray pants and brown shoes game.

    Which of these is working?

#1 (really light grey chinos and Meermin snuff suede)

    Brown shoe game (cont)

#4 alternate view (have been balking at this one because the gray has a lot of black in it)

Damn this look!! I wish i can just turn up to work one day like this, and the whole office will be like OMFG! (especially the ladies) but working in a non suit environment i guess it will never happen. But sticking to the topic I admire guys who can pull grey (especially Lt. Grey off). I guess i don't have the broad shoulders to pull a classic suit like this off.

    Sean,

I really don't have a problem with any of those combinations except maybe #1. The chinos seem a bit too casual for those shoes. However, it's not a really bad combo and would do in a pinch.

Butler, thanks for posting that superbly tailored fit.

Here's a Gray combo X post from the "Friday Challenge" thread.

Butler's grey on grey combo is rather elegant. Nice one :slayer:

I was never a huge fan of grey but I do have this one suit with a nice check running through it, I wore this for the monochromatic challenge:

My favorite gray suit (and my avatar) a Borrelli I bought from ShopTheFinest last year. The ultimate pick-and-pick grey pattern.
