Who makes these exorbitantly priced imported RLPL jackets.
    Any comments about quality?

The most expensive are by St. Andrews, the only slightly obscenely expensive are by Cantarelli. Based on price, these are Cantarelli. Though the more I look at them, they may even be by a lesser maker.

i don't think these jackets are made in Italy, because if they were, polo would have advertised it

I really like that middle one, but I can't see myself ever wearing it.

From the "imported" stuff I bought from RLPL, the usual makers are the ones in Asia or South America.

RLPL frequently has an element of fantasy about it, a little 'out there.' Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

    True.
Over the years I've come across items on RL.com and BB.com that were advertised as 'imported' but were in fact made in Italy.
I suspect its just laziness on the part of some web design intern.
