A silly question, perhaps, but what is the difference between the Edward Green Oundle, and the Edward Green Stowe?

Both appear to be plain-toed, side-buckle monkstrap shoes.

I wish, oh how I wish, that someone would make such a shoe with a medallion on the toe, like the sadly missed RLPL Grant (a modified version of the Oundle that EG made for Ralph Lauren Purple Label).

Here an explanation in this article http://the-last-shall-be-first.blogs...-shoes_16.html

You can order the Stowe and Oundle with medallions through the MTO program.

Can maybe someone give any recommendation for a good european shoemaker for bespoke shoes to remake these shoes for max 800 Euro? Maybe in Italy or England?
Thanks

What's your size in RLPL Grants? Color choice?

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
