If you tolerate this, the idea of her shopping for your clothes isn't far off. You must stand your ground now!

Is this decree based upon direct observation, or a generality? Perhaps if you pickup a beautiful Sutor Double MS in antiqued brown, she'll change her mind.

Windowpane suits? I must beleive that she's not seen them done properly. Maybe start her out with a glen plaid that has a windowpane in it?

Beanies, which is too bad because they keep my head warm.

LOL

Those posts are too funny! Trousers! Balls!

But all of you with wives are bullshitting and you know it. Cough it.

And for my amazing brilliant wife (no, she 's not reading over my shoulder

, she's very free and easy about most things. But she thinks double monks look like Clarks Sandals (got be a Brit) and the panes tacky!

I'm in agreement with her about the double monks, but I do like subtle panes. Oh well, I'll cry into the RWT Barossa she just got me for Christmas.

Keep 'em coming.

Always so eloquent, Brian.

Actually, she did like one pair of double monks. Forget the model.

The thread came from still being a little tipsy from last night and my son commenting on a jacket from WAYWRN thread. My son and I loved it, and she thought it hideous. And as I'll be grabbing some bargains at HR tomorrow morning, I wanted to see if I could get one passed her. Nope!

But the less eloquent comments were worth it, too.
