I think I'm addicted. To Propel, that is.

It's labeled as a "Fit Water Beverage" and it has vitamins and tastes great.

Unlike Gatorade it's not loaded with sugar, and it only has about 25 calories per bottle.

I used to be addicted to Red Bull, but the price and the fact that it tastes awful helped to get me off of it. I was drinking about 12 Red Bull a day!

Recently, I've been drinking about 3 or 4 Propel through the course of the day. I like the taste, the amount of calories, and the price. I usually get it at convenience stores as I drive around during the day.

Then I joined Costco. Somehow I had missed the Propel at Sam's Club ( where I'm also a member). I saw it at Costco for a ridiculously low price like $9.48 for 24 bottles!!!!!!

So i picked up 2 cases. That was last week. I started to drink more Propel and now I'm up to a case a day!!!!!! Yeah, that's right, 24 bottles of the stuff.

It hasn't made my life unmanageable, but I sure do crave the stuff. Is there a PA (Propel Anonymous)?

Anyone else out there drink this much of anything?

Good to know I'm not the only one with the Propel addiction! For a while, I was going through a couple cases a week, and had it with every meal - dead serious. I think I've got it under control now, but I still go through about 10 bottles/week. Welcome to the club.

I drink 24 bottles of water (I know some are against bottled water but our tap water even through my house filter tastes like a chemical) a day probably. I've had propel several times but if I'm looking for electrolytes I usually just opt for smart water.

12 red bulls a day?! Most people know me as having a red bull addiction, **** I have a red bull fridge in my room stocked full at all times and even then I max out at 2-3 a day. How is 12 even possible?!

And a case of propel a day?? I can't even drink that much water in one day

What a strange phenomenon. I knew a guy who drank propel CONSTANTLY. Now I know that's not unique.

first I read 12 red bulls a day, thought "****"....

then 24 propels??? an entire case... wow

Is this at an office environment?

I can't even drink more than 4 bottles of water a day. Today I drank 3 and I had to go take a leak 5 times.

Aside from the health concerns, the cost is just immense. $300 a month minimum?

A case a day is pretty excessive - I never got that bad. My worst was probably 6-7 bottles/day, but usually drank 3-4 of them right after high intensity workouts. I'm more worried about any long-term effects of all that Propel consumption. IIRC, they use a sugar substitute to sweeten the drink and keep the calories down - consuming that much saccharin can't be good for you in the long run.

since this propel is not sold down here in italy, may i ask how big is a bottle? we're used to coke bottles, that are 500 ml big. if they were just as big, you would be drinking something like 12 lt per day. that would be insane, man. and about the red bull, lol, our national health service says that 8+ cans may result in cardiovascular issues or death.

The Red Bull cost me more. I know I could have bought it by the case for like $1.60 a bottle (still too expensive for that crap). But I generally bought my Red Bull fixes at convenience stores for $2.00 to $2.50 a bottle. That's about $25 a day or $750 a month!!!!!

I could have been leasing a fine car for that amount.

I haven't googled it, but I bet there are sites and even forums for Red Bull addicts

Check to see it doesn't have much non-water-soluble vitamins (vitamin A for example) you could blow your liver.
