This spring's low-cost shoe damage, shot with a low-cost digital camera on a low-cost IKEA rug
The shoes are taken directly from my rotation and I haven't done any extra polishing before the photos so there are a few scuffs around
(particularly on the monkstraps as I last used them when playing with the kids outside). Also, I was a bit unsure of the lighting conditions and the use of the camera's flash but decided to go without the flash.
Anyway, from left to right:
Loake Trent (Dainite rubber sole), chestnut, seconds purchased from Herring Shoes for 50 GBP.
Loake Wells, black, purchased at a 70% off sale at a local Stockholm shoe shop (their last pair, and it was my size!).
From left to right:
Loake Wells, chestnut, seconds from Herring Shoes for 75 GBP.
Loake Exeter, dark brown, purchased from Pediwear at a slight discount
Not as impressive or nice as most of the other shoe damage threads here, but hopefully not that bad for a beginner on a budget
And yeah, I'll be ordering new shoe trees, probably those Bexley trees, when that budget allows for more shoe-related purchases again...
