To kill some of the potential fun for this thread, the term iGent and its various forms originated from the film noir buff forum to describe some of the silliness that you see from people on clothing message boards. It's not meant to be a compliment (though it seems that folks over on AAAC use it as such...) but here we use it to make fun of ourselves and each other.

Personally, I use it to make fun of FNB and the morons on his board who don't seem to understand that when they ridicule people for posting on clothing message boards, they are ridiculing themselves.
