If You Could Suggest One Thing to Fix These Pants...?

First of all, hello. Second, finding pants that fit right has always been a struggle. I'm 6'2" and 225 but carry all my weight above the waist. No butt to speak of, legs like stilts, ankles about 3 inches wide. Also, knock-kneed. Anything I buy off the rack needs a taper and tapered pants need more taper. Anyway, I recently purchased a Banana Republic suit which I got a great deal on. Pants are wool, 36/34. "Slim fit" cut. If you could make just one fix here, what would you suggest? I'm open to all suggestions, but the most egregious thing you see? If the only suggestion is "throw 'em out," I'll do what I gotta do. Thanks in advance.

There is no one solution. You have both pocket flaring and excess material under the seat. That cannot be fixed.

Slim fit doesn’t work for you. You need a regular fit. As said before, shorten them an inch.
