Grapevinehill mispriced these Crocketts. Their buy it now is usually $349 on the Polo Crocketts but they did not mention in the ad that these are Bench Made in England and they are pricing them like they Made in Italy. I would buy them but I just picked up the same one's in suede. I would not bother bidding as the risk is too high that they will go over $200 in an open auction but do as you wish..............

Nah, sorry. These are the same last as the "Alton" suede shoes (which I just won), so if anyone has those, they should be able to tell us.

I have them in black from last year. They're on the 337 as are the Altons, which I also have.

That's good to know. I bought a size US 10 and I'm usually a US 10.5 so my suede Altons should be fine. WOuld you say these are handgrade quality? Or is this that weird "better than benchgrade, but below handgrade" category?

Hmm..those are nice. I was actually watching some Tellmans in 9, but now I'm debating between these and tellman. They don't pop up as often as Tellman, do they?

They're nice and I considered them, but they're the same color as those Tellmans and the Chawners. I think I have to work on antiqueing/polishing those before I pick new ones up. Still, $200 a good price, because I haven't seen them before on GVH. Nonetheless, the posting of these could mean that they got a shipment of them in and a bunch are on the way.
