this site, http://www.brownsfashion.com . These guys are great. They have an e-store, but their better stuff is not listed there. They have a few Dior Homme suits, but not in 40r (I bought them all). So now, even if you live in the middle of nowhere like I do you can get a Dior suit.

Umm, it may only be my unfamiliarity with the site's content and/or navigation but I found one suit on the site, and that suit was made by Brown themselves. You said there weren't many listed but I found there are none listed. The only Christian Dior clothing articles that caught my eye were a few casual shirts and a dress shirt of sorts. Did they remove the listings because you bought them all, and in that case, you ruined it for all of us? [IMG]

Here is their email: [email protected] , email them for the better stuff. They reply very quick while they are open (please be aware that they do operate during UK working hours) and they can send pictures of the other items the offer.

Yikes, all the way across the pond for Dior Homme? Are their prices better than mainland stores like Saks/Neimans/etc.?

The prices are better but I mostly went with them because I live in Ohio where the best suits carried in Saks and NM are Emporio Armani. I went in and asked for a Gucci suit once and they said "Go to New York.". Anything good is hard to find outside the city.

Jeez, that's terrible customer service. Usually, if you hit upon a knowledgeable/good salesperson, or if you have an SKU, you can have them order it from another store for you. There's also the catalogs, which don't have all the good stuff, but again if you call and hit a good salesperson they'll know what you're talking about (or describing) and can order it for you.

If there ever will be an Oscar going for fashion retailing, Sidney and Joan Burnstein of Browns in London ought to get it. When other shops come and go, for the last thirtyfive or so years, Browns has been the Number One fashion store in London. The designers they discovered, promoted and presented reads like a "Who is Who" of modern fashion. Long shall they reign.
