I was looking at the Esquire website and they have a monthly $1000 cash prize so I was wondering if you won $1000 to buy clothes, how would you spend it?

I'd buy a brown TOJ Bomber
A pair of Allen Edmonds Park Avenue in Black

How exciting.

I'd buy a TOJ leather too, but not AE's.

I'd get the leather, a pair of decent wearing indigo jeans, a 6-pack of hanes V-necks (budget for like 6 packs and you have half the year) and a pair of decent white leather sneakers, you're on for the year or next 3. $1000 uniform status.

then

some Julius tops/longsleeves/tanks from the 2011 s/s collection all depending on deals or giving in to retail.

I was actually looking at some Dior 19cm and CP's so those and the rest of the money can go towards some vnecks or button downs... or put it all towards that rick intarsia leather i've been drooling over

I'd probably put it towards a pair of augustas or cd. Then use whats left over and have Hide proxy over some Japanese candy.

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
