Ideas needed for a scene in a comedy film

I'm working on a short comedy film and need funny ideas for a flashback scene. Here's the rundown, some guys are in trouble and recruit a total stranger (a pizza guy) to fake his death in a hair-brained scheme to fix everything for $20. We did an aside where the pizza guy says "well, it wouldn't be the worst thing I've done for $20" Then we need a flashback to something funny he's done in the past for money.

Keeping in mind that it has to be family friendly (no drugs/sex references) and easy enough to shoot (we don't have a budget for lots of props or anything like that.) We're hard pressed for ideas right now, so far this is what we got:

1) We could do a short clip of him running a 3-card monte scam on the street
2) We could do a short clip of him begging and pretending to be blind, when someone gives him a $20, he looks at it and says "sweet! a 20!" then bolts.

Suggestions?

Some personal experiences come to mind:

-lighting your asshair on fire for 20 bucks - instant cut to him running into the bathtub screaming
-eating an entire bulb of garlic. Cut to him dry heaving and his friends pointing and laughing.

Or maybe:
-asking a fat chcik out on a date as a dare. Cut to her stuffing her fat face at a restaurant and him getting stuck with a massive tab.

Etc

After he says that, just have an awkward silence and a close-up. I hate family guy style flashbacks.

This. None of the ideas strike me as very funny, or original. Well, except for GQgeek's, of course. But you're playing to a pretty small demographic there.

I would say if you have to keep it PG and don't have a lot of time and resources to shoot, then don't even do a flashback. I like the pause idea, then maybe he starts into explaining something that sounds insane, but a few words in is interrupted.

"See, there was this old blind woman with a chihuahua in front of that seedy motel down --"
"Yeah, we don't need the details; we don't have time. Let's just get going."
"But I want to hear about the chihuahua."

No extra scenes to shoot, no extra money to spend or time to waste.

And #1 would be funnier if he was doing 3 Card Monte in a school yard with children for their milk money. Or maybe shooting dice with them.
