Ideas for casual cord jacket

I realized I own a very nice Corneliani dark olive cord jacket that, for unclear reasons, I have rarely worn. As far as I can remember, I have used it mostly with jeans, a couple of light blue button-down shirts, and with a burnt orange V-nech cashmere sweater.

Even though I own several quality pieces, I'm very unimaginative in color/pattern combinations and usually go for the obvious and safe options. I would appreciate ideas on how to use this jacket in a casual setting, esp. what kind/color slacks, shirts and/or sweaters would be preferable to be paired with it.
