Ideas for buying a winter coat in London

Hi,
I am looking for 3/4 wool/cashmere or wool winter coat to wear both casually and for work. The coat should be slim fitting to wear without a suit (I already have a full length winter coat to wear with a suit). My budget is about 250 GBP.

I was thinking of making a trip to Bicester Village outlets (never been out there), perhaps to avoid the Regent Street malee. Do you think I could find something along the lines of what I am looking for there?

Thanks!

I'd suggest taking a look at T.M. Lewin and Charles Tyrwhitt before going to Bicester. Both are selling their coats under £180 at present, and while they are not the luxury brands you're probably hoping to find at Bicester, you'll at least have a range of in-budget options to evaluate, and to compare against if you make the Bicester trip.
