Ideas for a lightweight, casual but stylist boot for summer months but with a hard wearing sole as I like to walk?

Would you suggest a breathable fabric upper?

Thanks for the feedback.

I had contemplated desert boots. I have never owned a pair but might be an option for a summer beater. Might go in store and see how they look and feel

The tobacco suede looks nice.

I tend to be a chino and shirt man or a blazer (if cooler) in the summer.

At the moment, I have a Paul Smith navy suede boot on a narrow waist and a canvas boot (gifted) which will need replacing soon. I do like the canvas as its a distinct change from the non summer leather boots I have.

I am by no means a fan of Massdrop (or "Drop") anymore. However, the Allen Edmonds chukkas they collaborated on are fantastic.
