When I was growing up, I dreamed of having one boy and one girl. Now, capable of penetration, I want to have as many kids as my wife could tolerate. Ideally, 6 boys and 3 girls. What do you guys think?

That doesn't seem very respectful for your wife's health.

Height is overlooked in most discussions of ideal family size. If you keep your children to 5' 6" and shorter, you can more easily afford to have more of them. For this reason, 4' 6" to 5' 6" is ideal family size.

This is kind of a common error; your logic is perfect IF you plan to stack your children vertically. If, however, your lifestyle makes a horizontal arrangement more practical, then your kids can be taller, possibly approaching 6'4". ymmv.
