Please, help me to ID my vintage Levi's jeans I used to go to school in. Unfortunately, no pictures of the jeans available, neither the patch photo. But I strongly remember the following:

- jeans were from early or mid 80-s
- Orange Tab, Made In Canada
- zip fly
- copper riveted
- 7 belt loops
- thick leather two-horse patch, stiched at two sides (bottom and top).

Thank you at advance!

Hmmm, I have an old pair that match those requirements (except patch and made in canada tag, those were ripped off). I believe they are 505's. If it helps at all, mine are high rise and a bit slimmer than 501's of that era. They also made orange tab 517 bootcut jeans, which is suspect fill out those requirements as well, but the fit is very different below the knee (much looser).

The fit was close to 517 model, but I doubt they were 517. The model number stamped on the leather patch started from 6xx, as i can recall it. Also, all 517 vintage I saw on ebay were made in USA and didn't have leather patch.
The one exception was 517 made in Canada, with identical leather patch, but those were RED tab and watch pocket got 2 rivets except of 1.

Thanks, I noticed these jeans on ebay, they are really very similar to mine, but unfortunately, patch is not leather (oiled cardboard).
