For the amount Sundin is getting paid he should get two points a game, cure cancer, end the current economic recession and give Luongo a blow job.

Just back from the game, Richards' shorty on their 5 on 3 was a thing of beauty [IMG]

I've never liked the Flyers, at all, but what a nice player Richards is. Versatile, tough, and a fine leader.

Yep, very lucky to have him. I just read he set an NHL record with that, his third 5-on-3 short-handed goal. I was lucky enough to be at the game in Vancouver '07 when he scored his second one.

The funny part was that we got both Carter and Richards in the same draft in the first round. This may have the only good thing that Bobby Clark has ever done as GM.

I'd say he did a lot of things right aside from completely neglecting goaltending. The Flyers made three trips to the Stanley Cup finals while he was GM.

I can't wait to have Richards on Team Canada in the 2010 Olympics...

I grew up and got hooked watching the LCB line-I have always been a die hard Flyer fan. No matter who is playing who, I love to watch hockey-though, it is much funner to play than watch. I miss the days of no helmets and goalies wearing true masks-like Parent/Lindbergh.

There is no one I hate more right now than Martin Brodeur. Flyers can't get anything past this bastard.

Said with the utmost respect for the goaltender who will shortly hold the all time records for wins and SO's, right? [IMG]

Man, Marty has looked great the past few games that he's been back, and the Devils have been looking unstoppable in general. I hope this continues. I might try to get tickets for the game when Marty is expected to beat Roy's record.
