I have emailed Thick As Thieves LA regarding doing a 6x1 as opposed to their advertised 4x2 DB suit. I would like to spend about as much money as I would as TAT, although my price range can stretch a tad. I am a drop ten, so I do not think OTR/RTW that doesn't involve pairing two separate pieces would work.

Ideally, I would like to go MTM, but I am not aware of any other MTM tailors besides TAT (local ones for me are nothing to write home about from what I've heard). If all the well-dressed folk at SF would be so kind as to offer any other recommendations, I promise to return with pictures displaying all the glory of a well-fitted suit and a well put-together outfit!

I always thought the actor who plays Chuck Bass wasn't skinny at all.

So Jason from TaT is not interested in doing 6x1 (apparently he's not a fan)... the most he'd be willing to do is "convert the current style to a 6x4".

I have emailed him back asking about a 4x1, but I fear the answer will be much the same. Does anyone have any HELPFUL suggestions today?

I'm glad to hear that you're considering two suits.
