is there a good online database with facts and other content regarding fabrics?

I guess you need to go back to 2nd grade first before learning about fabrics.

I'll help you out, since I'm in an uncommonly good mood right now. I just got two job offers in NoVA. Wikipedia's Textile page is a good start. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Textile Read that, then scroll to the bottom and open up the Fabric template at the bottom, as it provides links to god knows all the fabrics out there. Learn to Google better.

Actually no. Even if he types 'frabrics' in google it will automatically be "Showing results for fabric. Search instead for frabric"
