So, for kicks, I tried on some Thom Browne at Bergdorf today. I tried on size 0 and 1 jackets; the 1 felt a lot more comfortable to me, but the 0 was closer to how I imagine Thom Browne is 'supposed' to look. I could almost wear the size 1 as a normal jacket: the shoulders were dead-on, and the back fit nicely (except for some roll behind the collar). The only real changes I'd make would be to nip in the waist and, obviously, shorten the sleeves.
Here are some photos of the size 1. Sorry for the poor quality; apparently you can't take photos in Bergdorf. The Thom Browne salespeople both insisted that the jacket was an improvement over the Rubinacci jacket I came in with. What do you think?
