I thought cashmere stuff is expensive, but I am wrong

I don't buy this "synthetic cashmere" thing - I googled it and the first thing that came up was this thread... and we all know how credible SF is :D

That being said, stuff can go for cheap because there's good cashmere and crappy cashmere like anything else.

I Googled it as well, and the next hit that comes up is acrylic fibre on Wikipedia. Which has probably much more credibility than SF. :D

That being said, stuff can go for cheap because there's good cashmere and crappy cashmere like anything else.


There's also synthetic wool, synthetic silk, synthetic cotton, etc. Better known as polyester. :satisfied:

lol - I know there are synthetic fabrics that feel like cashmere, polyester has come a long way since the '70s. I don't believe you can just label polyester or any other synthetic as "cashmere" without running afoul of labeling laws.
