1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I will visit as I have made a few good friends. As a tourist. I'm sure I will love it. I'm sure.

Knee deep in a beautiful nc river this morning. Hit my grand slam- brook, rainbow, brown. A perfect 55 degree day with trees that actually change colour.

    Good to be back.

^ Sounds like a great day indeed....I had a similar day in the Blue Ridge of VA 6 weeks ago...beats the office thats for sure.

As for being "back"- no offense- but the mts of NC are not NYC...

I think Ray LaMontagne said quite well:

    "New York City's Killin' Me"

Back in the east. Worn rock under my feet. Autumn in the air. Snow around the corner.

It would be like walking by Tartine Bakery, Bi-Rite Creamery and Delfina and there's no line.

    Thanks for the translation.

(Side note: I've never been to any of those three spots. My wife has gotten me ice cream cakes for my birthday from Bi-Rite on a couple of occasions, though. Mmmmm. Ice cream.)

Quit your lies. Trees don't change color. What, some kind of magic shifting trees? You're crazy!

Christ, I never thought I would see a city with less attractive women that SanFo. Then I arrived in Washington.

Yes, I spent a week there one afternoon, but I imported two very beautiful women for the day so my judgement was clouded.

^ howd it go last night with the open bar??

...as for Beautiful Women...I was in Paris a few weeks ago and was floored by the beauty of the women...I think they get extra credit just for speaking french...and being so well dressed.

Perhaps it helped that all men looked...er...gay....(not that there's anything wrong with that :D

Talked to a couple of girls, then hit my room. Too many squeals in the bar as each state reported.

Yes to Parisian women. They can make a pair of killer shoes and red lipstick work like no one else.
