The major sport venues like Pac Bell (I know the real name but pac bell was an awesome name), oakland coliseum/oracle have excellent public transportation options but 95% of the people still drive in...

After Möbius I'm going to open up Escher. Let's see the fuckers deal with that line.

I really like Blue Bottle - their coffee plus Ritual are the best, IMO. I hate everything about Three Barrel Coffee, though. It really is horrible coffee.

I had Four Barrel coffee and it was delicious. I met Kiya from Selfedge there once. The place is near his store.

I waited in line at Blue Bottle for 15-20 minutes this afternoon. Not worth the wait. I prefer the no wait Nespresso or Clover option. :hide:

Bourbon and branch is ok. The secret entrance to the library is kinda neat. I think the hole in the wall Shalimar across the street is a more satisfying experience.

IMO the Vietnamese food in the bay area is where it's at. Had pho at PPQ tonight. When across the street for the 3 colored drink. Having the 5 spiced chicken tomorrow. :slayer:

What's the point of drinking any coffee other than Philz if you're in the City?

The longer the lineup the greater the street cred. On yelp.

Now you're just bitching. This phenomenon occurs in any city.

Much like Rowdy Roddy Piper, or Jesse "the body" ventura when he was part of the east west connection tag team combo, SF is one of those things lefty loves to loathe.

Honestly, Mobius is a pretty great name for a restaurant.

The line thing is out of control in SF, though. It is one thing to suffer a wait, it is another thing to search for a line.

It really is horrendous up there. I occasionally wait in line for up to 5 minutes at one of the two coffee shops in my neighborhood. Never happens otherwise, and never for longer.

The worst line has got to be the ice cream line at Bi*Rite.

For pour over coffee, there's actually a great joint on Grand Ave in Oakland that serves it well, and there's never a line. Monkey Forest Road. Stupid name, great coffee.
