Hi,
So I saw this Mr.Guy leather jacket. It looks kinda damaged on the photo but you cant notice it. I was wondering if the brand was legitimate. I could not find anything about it except the description which says it's famous customers.

I only found a website that said the same thing:

"The history of the brand...
Mr. Guy is widely known as the true pioneer of fashionable Rodeo Drive before it really became "Rodeo Drive.". The original Mr. Guy men's boutique began in the 1950's in Los Angeles, and due to its popularity it had to move to a larger space on little known street called Rodeo Drive in 1969. The word spread fast through Hollywood, and soon Mr. Guy was including the most popular celebrities of the day as his clients: Steve McQueen, James Caan, Peter Sellers, Frank Sinatra, Tony Curtis, Robert Evans, Jon Peters, Mac Davis, Ryan O'Neil, and Greta Garbo were some of the few who flocked to buy the exclusive clothing that only Mr. Guy provided.

Unfortunately the creator of Mr. Guy, Guy Greengard, died Jan. 7, 2011 at the age of 91. However, the famous label still continues to provide fabulous men's fashions with the new owner and design master Guy Clark at it's helm.

Guy Clark is a well known figure in New York social circles. He is an Interior Designer, Jewelry Designer, Fashion Designer and Television Personality, who for years has enriched the lives of his clients with fresh and innovative creations for their home and personal use. Guy's natural progression into the world of fine Men's Accessories comes at a time when Men's fashion needs a fresh new outlook and a new face!

The upcoming fashion season for Mr. Guy will include a spirited collection of bow ties, ascots, cummerbunds and pocket squares. "

Anyone heard of it. They allow returns.

You can find nothing, learn that lesson - avoid or else take a chance on wasting your money.

As always, ignore GBR for the sake of your own sanity.

Mr. Guy is a well known streetwear brand w/ limited distribution. Typically hard to find stateside. If you like the item, and it's from a well-rated seller allowing returns, go for it. You prob won't run into it again.

The name rings a bell..

I am assuming this is a vintage garment you are interested in.
Anyone located on rodeo Drive, produced high end/expensive clothing.

if the size is good and the price is fair, then take a chance.

I know nothing about this other Mr. Guy.
sounds like he found the name and may have bought the rights to from the estate.

yes, Ignore GBR
