Getting stabbed is no biggie. It happens to me at work all the time. Thats what band-aids are for.

On a serious note, I did have to give myself stitches once. That hurt worse than the knife.

I saw a knife fight on a train through Inner Mongolia. I was half asleep and saw the victim running past me, shirtless and bloody. They gave the classic "is there a doctor on board?" announcement. Minutes later the guy was being "treated" in between the train cars and our seat covers were being used to mop up his blood while everyone crowded around him. The train didn't stop until 4 hours later in Hailar. Traveling on cheap hard-seats with peasants is fun.

You saw a bloody guy with a stab wound across the room. You weren't standing next to him when he got shanked, big deal.

I saw a drunk guy get into a motorcycle accident with a semi coming off the interstate. The guy got ripped into literally hundreds of pieces.
Who cares. It wasn't your friend or family was it?

Really good story, I'd love to go to that region of the country some time.

Before I had health insurance, I had to wait in the ER with a punctured lung and badly broken ribs next to a guy who had been stabbed. The stabbee was in handcuffs and sandwiched by two cops with rubber gloves on. I've always wondered how busy they had to have been to make that guy wait.

I'll keep that in mind if I ever see you in distress......

LOL it was an exaggeration. It was actually mind-numbing. My significant other and i were the first car on the scene, so we called the ambulance and had them out. It was my dad's first ever night working the ambulance, so it was a family affair.

It definitely made me think about how I drove the next few weeks.

I've never seen anyone get stabbed before. There was this club in Hartford call Club Pyramid a mostly Hip Hop/Dancehall club I liked to visit a fight broke out around 11 between two different blocks, later maybe at 1-2 am when exiting the club I saw the little 16 y/o fellow I know shoot six people and run off. He didn't kill one, none were even crippled, or permanently damaged in anyway, he was an incredibly bad aim. He was never arrested for the incident.
I think being up close to stabbing would be would worse to observe, also would take more balls to inflict.

I really hate that I find myself agreeing with you on various posts throughout the forum.

I need to find something where I can make fun of you again. Any new Thom Browne tube socks or attempts by the Mexicans to storm the castle?

+1; maybe it was the stigmata. Hip-hop can be a religious experience.
