From now on. It seems like life will be easier this way.

Interesting... so grey suit, pink shirt and navy socks? what about a green shirt?

If I had to pick one and only one sock color, I think it would be a medium-to-charcoal grey. My second choice would probably be navy too

I've been doing this for a few years. It really simplifies things.

Ok, cannot help it, I have to drop these lines from Coupling:
That’s the sock gap. Miss it, and suddenly you’re a naked man in socks. No self-respecting woman will ever let a naked man in socks do the squelchy with her."
(lawyerdad's fault, not mine!

It would be for me as I seem to spend an inordinate amount of my dressing time at the sock drawer.

Me too, and I never get it quite right. I have come to the conclusion that navy goes better than whatever I come up with that day. GDL- Pink shirt yes, I don't have any green shirts. DP- Thanks... I think.

It was a compliment and I'm giving you a hard time,
but I'd hate to see you limit your options.

I would think black or charcoal would be a more-flexible color to settle on. I don't think I own any navy socks. I don't have anything to wear with them...
