My boyfriend is 6'8". He's a 34" waist and 38" inseam. He hates shopping for jeans because they're hard to find in that size and still look good (He's kinda picky...)

Any suggestions would be helpful - I want to surprise him with a new pair AND some places he can consistently shop.

Thanks!

Ande Whall will make any of his stock styles with inseams beyond 40" and carries 38" inseams normally. www.andewhall.com

ande whall does up to 44" inseams, which will be perfect if he wants stacking. other than that, some of the self-edge collaborations have 38+ inseams but they're definitely on the pricey side.

My 6'8 friend manages to find all his jeans at The Gap, though I'm personally not a fan of their jeans.

It's cool of you guys to help her out, but it'll be funny when an innocent bystander is surprised with a pair of jeans made out of cardboard.

Posting a price range would be good too... This is a guy who "hates shopping for jeans," he might not be the kind of guy who wants to drop $300+ on Diors or $200 on Andes.

Although if he doesn't mind spending but just dislikes not being able to find his size, then Andes are exceptional jeans for the price.

Can i be the one creep who brings up that she's a lady?

But seriously. It depends on what you want to spend. Ande Whall as mentioned makes a terrific product, is a really great guy to deal with, and will run you just under $200. You also have several japanese denim designers who make jeans with inseams about 38" at just under $300 Do you happen to know what inseam you boyfriend requires? Maybe find a pair of pants that fit him how he likes length wise, and measure from the crotch seam, to the end of the jean. If he's really tall but is more torso than leg, he could get away with 35-36" inseam, but it depends on the body.

How about some APC New Standards (in 33" waist)?
I'm 6'4 and I get nearly 4 inches of cuff from their generous inseams.
You'll just have to explain to him that he can't put them in the dryer or they'll turn into capris.

We've probably got the biggest selection of jeans that would be long enough for him..
Go here: www.selfedge.com/shop
And here are some jeans you can look up:
Imperial Duke = 38"
Imperial King = 38"
Flat Head SE05BSP = 40"
Flat Head F380 = 39.5"
Dry Bones Red-D = 40"

Haha.. Yes, I'm a lady... and yes, I know denim. I just found this site and though you could save me the trouble in searching for men's - I tend to know more about women's fashion - Thanks again for all the help.

Price doesn't matter too much, if it's good quality it's worth it.

The sizes I gave you are his sizes. Waist 34, inseam 38. Occasionally he gets away with 36" but he likes 38 better. His torso isn't tough to find things for - just the long legs.

I've looked at all the suggestions. Ande seems pretty good. One person PM'd me suggesting indiDenim. Do any of you know the quality of their custom denim?

Thanks again.
