1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

The deal with the best friend is that, I guess technically, she's better friends with me.

Don't count on it, especially if you have to qualify that with "technically". They're both girls, which is a thumb on the scale.

This girl has a boyfriend, right? You need to set the boyfriend up to get caught cheating. Hire a girl from an escort service if you need to. Or just spread a nasty rumor that he's cheating. The girl will be devastated and seek comfort in your arms.

Plus, a woman might love you like a brother, and you may be her best friend in the entire world, but she will still discuss any- and everything you have done or will do if it's vaguely interesting or topical. The same goes for any woman you date. Assume that as soon as you say something or do something, all of her friends know about it. No matter how private, embarassing, or personal you think it is. Unless you specifically and explicitly ask her to keep it quiet, she won't. And even then, she might not.

This is true for many men as well, but to be honest, I think it's far more widespread among women.

They're not dating. The whole thing is actually rather taboo...the guy is her brother's best friend, and if her bro found out, he would go apeshit and probably kick this guy's ass and never speak to his sister again.

LOL, the only way I learned about their love-that-dare-not-speak-its-name was by promising Jess I wouldn't tell her brother about it. I'd feel like shit if I did, too...they're really close, or as close as constantly bickering sisters and brothers can get.

Clearly YOU can't tell her brother about it; then you'd be the rat, and have broken your promise. No, someone else needs to convey the information. Come on, where's your sense of intrigue?

Don't tell her brother. Tell a good friend of her brother's who has trouble keeping secrets.

You need to shed your guilt. You know what they say about nice guys: they always finish last, right after the cockslapping guys.

Perhaps not the best term of art to use in this setting. [IMG]

Why don't you just do the camera thing from American Pie I so we can all gather 'round Styleforum and watch?

I didn't know people used the words "made out" anymore. Anyways, congrats on the grinding.
