I was trying to bid on this, but I didn't wake up on time. I just want to share with you gentlemen, so that we have a topic to talk about

I like Hedi's works, and I think this 2004 Strip Collection went for too low... $300. I wish I didn't sleep over this. What do you gentlemen think?

In my opinion, the jacket looks worn, but I think with a proper dry cleaning, the jacket will somehow look like new.

If you were able to manage to sleep while this auction was about to be ended, I guess you didn't care for the jacket as much as you thought.

It's a good thing you didn't wake up. You saved yourself a chunk of change that you can use to buy something that isn't 9 years old and beat.

Shouldn't it have the pants to go with it, is it an orphan? $300 USD seems like a lot of money for a rumpled, previously enjoyed, second hand, 9 year old suit jacket.

Being that Dior is a prized collectors brand, the price seems about right considering the size 46EU makes the piece even more rare.

Not sure what makes this particular black orphaned suit jacket a must have piece though?

There must be a zillion black orphaned suit jackets of similar quality by desirable brands knocking about out there, any reason why it must be an old Dior? The style of that jacket is nothing out of the blue, at the time it was fashion forward, but 9 years later it looks very ordinary.

Surely, won't stay in style for a long time to come though. Lapels are way too thin for my taste.
