I might just have brought a new pair of jeans.

Yes, you read the title of the thread right. I went to a Marshal's near my school and found a good deal on a pair of jeans. I was hoping to find a pair PDCs or ES or even something really expenseive. But no luck, although I did find a pretty good deal on a pair of G-Star jeans. They usually retail for $100+, but the had them at Marshal's for $49.99 and they were marked to $36. The only problem is that there's a button missing. It's the third one down, but you can't see it, so I might keep them if my mother likes them (yes, I still live at home and have a limited budget). So, if she likes them I might post pictures.

Ususally G-Star Jeans are raw, but for some odd reason, they appear to be washed. I want to see what you guys think about them. I think that my mother will agree that they are nice and she will let me keep them. Also is there a way to replace missing metal buttons on Jeans? Cause if there is, I think my problem is solved.

They're not raw. The jeans probably say "G-Star Raw", but the "raw" doesn't refer to the denim. It's a marketing thing, afaik. Like "X-treme". They're also not selvage, but they're not bad jeans. Hard to tell from the pic, but the wash looks decent.

The fight is a little tight, but not supertight when I can't walk around. I got lucky, mainly because of the fact that if I got my size, I think I wouldn't be able to have kids. But still, it was a good deal.

The missing button is not difficult to replace. A competent tailor can do it for you, probably for $10-$15.

Yeah, I was thinking that myself, I guess that I'm gonna have to check my phone book for one close by. Thanks again guys. I always get my questions answered here.

Edit: I'm taking them back due to the missing button. My father doesn't approve that the button is missing.

I realized that they weren't that good and I didn't feel like going out and looking for a taylor. About the pictures, I felt like taking them down, I don't like taking up space in my flickr account.

Handlethevibe: please, that picture is old is about a year old. I wouldn't care, but I'm really not in the mood for stuff like that, so could it down. I may look like a tool, I'll admit I was in high school, but now I don't dress like that and I'm not as goofy.

But the other thing is that I didn't notice the button was missing at first. I just button the top one when I tried them one. I just was a good deal and couldn't pass them up. So I don't feel bad, at least the weren't $100+ and the button was missing.

minya: Naw there's no power struggle, I guess that he thought that it was stupid that the button was missing.

Does anyone know where are good places to find good deals (perhaps markoffs) on jeans in Toronto?

Holt Renfrew has crazy sales sometimes. Probably not right now, though.

There's a Holt Renfrew outlet way up north... and I think there's a TNT Blu outlet up there, too.

I missed the action too. But it was definitely something that should be frowned upon and I don't in any way condone the actions. I categorically deny any wrong doing. I didn't ******** with an under age girl. Uhhhhh. I mean.... uhhhh... Nevermind.
