I'm just curious, what made you meet him?

Now all you have to do to be considered the forum's risk-taker is to meet Ernest in Paris :p

I guess he read the SF NYC get-together thread and offered to treat me to oysters when I was in NYC over on FNB's site. I was intrigued and emailed him to set a meeting time and place.

I believe several forum members have actually met Ernest and say he's quite nice in person. I won't be going to Paris any time soon, so unless Ernest comes to Tokyo, I won't be meeting him.

I have met Ernest and I agree with that 'nice person' bit.

That may be true, but it doesn't rule out the possibility that Vaclav is the alter ego of another SF member, not that I particularly care one way or the other.

Vaclav seems like an interesting guy, but I still contend that Lazarillo and he are one in the same. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Lazarillo's Pink shirt kite was hilarious, and not dissimilar to Vaclav's burning of the coat or destruction of the shoes.

That's funny. Vaclav's answer to Andrew's shoe damage reports.

You met the equivalent of meeting the lochness monster or big foot and you didn't bring a camera?

i dont think he was banned for trolling per se, something about being ****** tabled and stumbling upon a forum glitch that gave him access to something he shouldnt have, and didnt reveal it to the moderators. I feel his contributions are better suited to a wider user forum like this one, than FNB where there are far fewer to enjoy his musings.

Anything is better than Grayson...although even he is better than Ernest.

Jon.
