I made a veal schnitzel and ate some potato farls with butter and salt at 3am

Is this weird?
I got up, went to the kitchen, dipped a veal escallop in milk then in flour, fried it in sunflower oil, grated parmesan on it, and added salt and pepper, ate it, still felt hungry, so toasted an Irish potato farl, buttered it and added salt, ate, went to sleep...

Bouji - Why didn't you simply grab a greasy kebab on the way home after clubbing? They're pretty ubiquitous, from memory... although probably not as appealing as home-made veal schnitzel, I must admit.

They are pretty common, though I am not sure if getting something in your beer sloshed stomach at 3 am is actually worth the Kebab indigestion that you feel the next day.

And woe be the guy that wakes up on his friends couch to the smell of all the stale Kebab wrappers covering the coffee table.

I miss Waffle House. A patty melt with hashbrowns, scattered smothered and covered......

Not really, I am seized by many culinary fancies at odd hours. A whole charcuterie plate, complete with cornichon, pickled onions, artichokes and other delights once amused my midnight palate.

I also once got an idea for a still life while I was sleeping; I awoke, broke out a few cameras and some lights, and took pictures all morning.

I do not think it is weird as it is misinformed to call what you prepared at the twilight hour as Schnitzel. Did afterward you warm an American toaster tart and name it Apfelstrudel?
