I've seen worse fits with pricier suits. The sleeves don't look too long to me. I suspect you got your money's worth and then some.

I think it is unreasonable to expect tailored perfection at Target prices.

NoStyleMan,
Looks fine for a start.

I give you points for at least trying.
Stick around the forum, and you'll pick up tons of wisdom from the masters here.

In Toronto Canada, we have our 'International Clothiers' chain,
which you can buy a suit for $100.

I still have 2 double-breasted suits from IC, that I keep out of sentimentality.
Thing with an inexpensive suit:
It will look OK for a couple of years...if you are careful.
Just stay in the half-light, and keep moving...and no one will figure it out.
Those suits actually look OK on me.

I have an Aquascutum Raincoat on the other hand that makes me look like a refrigerator,
and its not an oversize.

I have one pair of Stacey Adams Black & White Spectators (Thrifted last December)

Probably last years model.
The gentleman must have gone out ballroom dancing for an evening,
and tossed them.
They are virtually new.

very lightweight construction, but all leather, I was suprised.

I confess I am unsure what (if anything) I can wear them with.
I don't dance.

suggestions?

I'm really interested in that Merona suit but when I tried it on, the jacket length was too long for my comfort. Is it possible to to get the bottom part hemmed at least 1 1/2 inches without doing too much damage to the pockets or the jacket itself?
