speaking of Jens Lekman, does anybody know if the Someday Lounge in Portland is 21+? He's coming here soon, and hopefully it isn't 21+...

Sun Mountain push-cart, bought yesterday at the pro-shop before tee-time. Really nice with a beer holder, and quick release bungee cord bag attatchment (instead of straps). As you can see, it is larger but folds down fantastic.

Just bought a kayak.

Took it on a river near my house - water level was too low, despite this being a good-sized river (200' across). Too many rocks, too strong a current, so I tried the lake. 2' waves today - made it out about 50 feet before it started to fill up with water, and then got caught sideways and almost flipped over.

Tomorrow I will try the river downtown, where it's wider (100-500 feet) and deeper (50+ feet) and has much slower of a current. It will be pretty LOL to try and find a spot to launch a kayak downtown though.

Tokyo,

I use Grado 60s on my video iPod. It's a great headphone. You should hear the RS-1s.

For less than $60, they were pretty much undefeatable. I listened to the RS-1's at an electronics store in Akihabara last time I was there, and they were excruciatingly nice.

TS,

Can you tell me the benefits of this over the standard iPod? I think in another thread you were discussing it a bit, but I couldn't find it.

Well just off the top of my head: It's not an Apple product. :p Replaceable battery 5 band equalizer less expensive/more capacity/bigger screen than direct ipod competition longer battery life (20 hours continuous on the spec sheet - some credible reviews claim their battery charge lasted longer though) doesn't require iTunes to get your music onto it (Or anything, actually. Drag + Drop) FM Tuner/FM recording Voice Recorder Video playback Micro SD expandability And its FLASH! No Hard drive to kill Don't need to be as gentle with it(As a matter of fact, according to reviews, this thing's face is much tougher than the iNano)

Yes I'm very very excited to read both of them... Absurdism as an idea is very interesting, currently re-reading the Plague.
