After having recently discovered the wonders of loose leaf tea, I decided to buy a nice tea pot. I eventually settled for this:

A Bodum Classic. It works very well.

Almost done putting this together; it was my Saturday morning project. What a PITA. Can't get the Makita in to several screws and it has taken about two hours. Solid wood though, no veneer, no MDF, all stained hard wood. Again, it's not an heirloom piece by any means, but it's solid, attractive, and very functional. I highly recommend it for the sale price. Here's a picture. It's not fully loaded with my stemware at the point I took the picture, but IMO, it's looking good.

The boxed one is 21 year port wood, the almost empty bottle (

Ca. 1950 "weather station" - hygrometer, barometer, thermometer. Needs cleaning and adjustment, but good condition. I'll try pestering and whining with my watchmaker until he agrees to do it.

A Fujitsu U1010 (odd, I've a feeling that I've typed this already).

edit: oops, yes I have. It's running XP instead of Vista and I just installed Office onto it. Surprisingly zippy opening up a 7.2mb word file, flip over the screen and put it into portrait mode, it's pretty much an ebook reader. Plays video okay too. Keyboard is very small though, necessitating two finger typing rather than touch typing.

Linn Lingo. Hopefully this will arrive in better condition than the LP12 and Cary 308.
