So, I woke up this morning to find my bank account $550 overdrawn. After spending several useless hours on the phone between my bank and Western Union, there's apparently nothing I can do for the next week, because Western Union can't cancel it and my bank needs the charge to clear before they can dispute it. I have no idea how long it's going to take once the dispute actually starts, so, for now, I have some cash in my wallet left over from when my friend paid me back for gas. Hooray for identity theft!

If only I hadn't made all those jokes about terrorism, this never would have happened.

If you don't get your money back, then the terrorists will have won.

Seriously, should I call my town police? The FBI? I'm not expecting them to devote any time to this, but I'm not sure if I should be to help with the claim process with my bank or what. Bank of America is ******* useless, and Western Union was worse.

Definitely file a police report with your local police, if only because your bank will probably ask you for a copy.

I had my wallet stolen last year at this gay club in dc. The next day, there were charges at Armani Exchange.

I admire you created the potential for this to diverge in any of several different directions.
